Stream Dipping Cancelled
The Stream Dipping event, due to be held by the Friends of the Valley, Little Dene and Little Dene Park on 14 May, has had to be cancelled, as there is not enough water in the stream!

We didn’t hear about this event until after the festival programme had been printed, but it sounds great! 7:30pm, Friday 13 May at Jesmond URC, Burdon Terrace. Newcastle Student Orchestra and Choir Summer concert, featuring music from Jurassic Park, La La Land, Mary Poppins and more! Tickets online (Adult £5/ Concession £3) or at the door (Adult £6/ Concession £4).
Jubilee Crown Making
Jesmond Library have added a “late extra” to the Festival Programme – Half Term Children’s Crafts with a topical Royal theme. The session will take place on Tuesday May 31, from 10:30 am to 12 noon.

Free Kids Disco
Booking is now open for a Kids Disco Party with DJ Scott, brought to you by Jesmond Pool and Gym, especially for the 2022 Jesmond Community Festival. Sunday 8 May, 2-4pm. Free, but you must book in advance at https://gymcatch.com/app/provider/4680 and children aged under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult.
