This year’s Teddy Bear Trail has the theme “Ted goes Travelling”. The trail will be in place from 17 May, but you will be able to purchase entry forms in advance at the St George’s Church Launch Event on 3 May (from 2pm), and from Jesmond Library, also from 3 May. Entry forms will cost £1.50 per person.
This year’s Jesmond Gardens Awards competition has been launched. Awards are available for all types of front garden, large or small, but the garden must be readily visible to passers by. For more information, or to enter your garden email gardensinjesmond@gmail.com . The deadline for entries is 1st May 2025, and the awards will be presented in Jesmond Library on 22 May.
St George’s Church will be combining the Festival Launch on May 3rd with a Big Friendly Gathering on the Green, to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. Bring a picnic and enjoy music, teas and Pimm’s!
