Revolution on Tyneside

In the mid 19th Century a number of globally renowned radicals, including Garibaldi, Mazzini and Kossuth, had important links to Tyneside, and many of them visited. Tyneside Fiddle Alliance Open Evening

An open evening when you can drop in and listen to the Tyneside Fiddle alliance playing some of their large repertoire of tunes from the North East and further afield. We meet in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere on the first and third Thursdays each month, but tonight we will be playing tunes for anyone who would like to come and listen – or indeed, join in if you wish! Jesmond Vale Heritage Walk – ALL PLACES TAKEN

Join the Friends of Jesmond Dene on a walk though “old” Jesmond Vale village, including the old flint mill, Jesmond Vale House and the Ouseburn Culvert. There are some steep sections on this walk and stout shoes are advisable. No charge, but donations to the Friends of Jesmond Dene will be welcome.

St George’s Summer Fete

Model Steam Train Rides
