Heritage Tour

The Friends of Jesmond Old Cemetery have been busy transforming this beautiful example of a Victorian garden cemetery for over 13 years now and, in the process, have uncovered many monuments that were previously hidden by vegetation and undergrowth. Therefore, as well as the more familiar names that are always popular on our tours, like Fenwick, Laing and Bainbridge, there are now new names to learn and different tales and stories to tell….. there is always something different to see and hear on our tours. So, come along, meet our friendly Friends, and find out something new about Jesmond Old Cemetery.

To book a place, email us at friendsofjoc@gmail.com, let us know who wants to come, we’ll then confirm your booking and provide you with further details.
