The Friends of Jesmond Dene tell us that all the places on the Dawn Chorus Nature Walk on 13 May are now reserved. However there are still places available on their Heaton Park Walk on 3 June.
All available places on the guided walks “Tyneside Flats to Tankerville” are now fully booked. Many apologies if you are disappointed!
A tempting proposition for every weekday morning in Weeks Three and Four of this year’s Festival is free coffee and cake in St George’s Church. Please note that the time during which coffee and cake will be served will now be from 10:30 to 11:30 am only, and on Fridays refreshments will be available from Friday cafe in the church hall.
The North East Recorder Orchestra is coming to Jesmond as part of this year’s Jesmond Community Festival, in a performance at Jesmond United Reformed Church on Saturday 3 June, starting at 7pm.
The Orchestra will be presenting “Music for a Summer Evening”. Come and experience recorders in an orchestra, from small to very large. The programme will include music from ancient to modern. Be prepared to be amazed by the different sizes and beautiful sounds that recorders can make! Tickets £5, children free
