At last, some good weather for a walk! This one was organised by the Holy Trinity Walking Group. to Edmondbyers, on 1 June.
The last of this year’s big Festival musical highlights was Jesmond Choral Group’s performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Patience”, with the help of the Priory Singers, conductor Jonathan Scott, pianist Julia Kennard and a host of guest soloists.
The very well attended Kids’ Organ Prom in St George’s Church on 29 May featured Saint-Saens “Carnival of the Animals”.
15 children took part in today’s “sporty” crafts session in Jesmond Library.
