The hardy folks of the Friends of Jesmond Dene managed to go ahead with their Dawn Chorus Nature Walk this morning, although only 7 of the 13 people booked turned up. It didn’t rain too much and the group reported that they heard plenty of birds and saw a bat!
Today’s Open Day at Jesmond Community Orchard has been postponed, owing to the weather.
Please note that the Harpsichord Recital to be held at 1 pm on Friday 8 May will now take place at St Hilda’s Church, Thornleigh Road, not at St George’s.
