There has been strong interest in Keith Jewitt’s walks around All Saints Cemetery, and, unless there are late cancellations, the walk planned for 22 May is now full up. Fortunately Keith has agreed to repeat the walk again, on Bank Holiday Monday, 29 May, at 10:15 am. If you are interested in this extra walk, email info@jesmondfestival.org.uk as soon as possible.

Ring for the King!

Ring for the King!

The St George’s Church Bell Ringers have announced that not only will they be ringing for the King themselves, starting at 10:00am on Saturday 6 May, but between 10:30 and 11:30 am individual members of the public will also be invited to ring a bell. Places will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis, and participants will be given a certificate to say that they have “Rung for the King”!

If demand is too great, it may not be possible for everyone to take part.
